America's 3 Favorite Foods Just
Got Better!
VEAL STRAMI
|
The New York Times, August 18, 1999
Florence Fabricant
The quest for lean pastrami has led to the development
of both turkey pastrami and salmon pastrami. And now there's a delicious new veal version,
created by David Mosner & Company, a veal packer at the Hunts Point Market in the
Bronx. The fine-grained meat has a good coating of black pepper and is excellent when
sliced thin and tucked into a sandwich or brushed with mild mustard, then rolled up and
speared with a toothpick as an hor d'oeuvre. |
- Fully cooked, this healthy and lean veal product is low in
fat and
cholesterol.
- Strami is coated with black pepper and spices, and is
delicious
both hot or cold.
